FLORIDA V. ARKANSAS: INITIAL THOUGHTS

Keeping with tradition, SNL will refrain from substantive analysis until a second viewing of the game.  That said this game was a strange elixir of continued offensive futility, a defensive regression, but came with a hope “chaser” toward the end of the 4th quarter.

About half-way through the third, after the ‘Hawgs scored on a grinding, run-oriented drive, SNL was convinced that LSU would be visiting The Swamp as a 5.5-point favorite next week, which would be about a touchdown to little.  However, like the flirty girl next door that is going when your coming and vice versa, Florida gave its fans just enough to believe that maybe, just maybe, the Gators can beat LSU next week.

Still, SNL has to believe that LSU is, by any objective measure, superior to the Gators and should be favored to win next week.

SNL will be back no later than Monday a.m. with a detailed summation of this week’s game and a scouting report on LSU.  ‘Til then, enjoy the following video, its well done.
